- Swizzle Stick - "DRAGON INN" embossed at top. "VAN & BURNABY - BC" embossed on shaft."PAGE" and "MADE / IN / CANADA" embossed on the reverse side.
The stick is molded from green plastic with a chinese fan at the top and a dragon curled around the shaft.
- Object History
- Dragon Inn belonged to the Lee family. The Dragon Inn restaurant was located at at 4510 Kingsway, on the corner of Kingsway and Willingdon Avenue (opened in the 1970s) and later at Hastings Street near Willingdon (opened in the 1990s). The Dragon Inn was known for its exterior neon sign which was removed in 1997.

- Small domed disk of white porcelin used in gambling games, like Fantan or in the game of Go.
- Object History
- This game piece was found in the 1990s underneath the Chauffeur's cottage at Ceperley Mansion (Burnaby Art Gallery today). It bears resemblance to a game piece from Fantan set. There were Chinese Canadians working at the Fairacres Estate around 1912, so it is possible this piece is related to these workers.

- A cardboard box of "Dr. William's Pink Pills", with pills still inside. One side of the package is in English and the other in French. The top and bottom of the box are pink, and folded with flaps. The top reads 'Wartime package adopted Jan 1943" and "GT Fulford Limited Brockville Ont. Direction Booklet Inside This End."
The fronts and sides of of the rectangular package is black with black and pink text in a white oval shape. The text reads "No. 19327 Proprietary of Patent Medicine Act / Dr. William's Pink Pills / A Tonic for the Blood and Nerves / with Iron and Vitamin B1 / Contents 50 pills."
The side oval has text that reads: "Directions: 2 pills 3 times a day after of with meals. See booklet inside for complete directions. Each pill contains 1/200 grain Strychnine, 35 International Units Vitamin B1, 15 milligrams assimilable iron.

- A cardboard package with raw ingredients for "Fem-Health Tea." The cardboard box is covered iwth a pink sleeve. The text is orange and blue. The box has directions for use and an explanation of what what symptoms of irregular and painful menstruation it will remedy.
The contents of the tea are as follows: Squaw vine, helonias root, blackhaw bark, ginger root, chamomille flowers, aleitris root, motherwort herb, celery seeds, Uva Ursi leaves, cascara bark, cramp bark, cyani flowers.

- Worn wooden cabinet made from Douglas Fir and cedar. The interior of the cabinet is painted a pale yellow. One third of the cabinet closest to the ground houses a large open shevling area with the back paneling visible. The middle of the cabinet has 5 slots for drawers with metal handles. One drawer is missing. The top third of the cabinet is split into 2 shelves with a yellow board bisecting the top shelf.
Chinese characters are painted in black on the back of the shelving unit.
- Object History
- The cabinet was found in the Thrussell farmhouse on Marine Drive in Burnaby in the 1999.The Thrussell's land had been leased to Chinese tenant farmers by the Thrussell family and also previous owners.
The City demolished the house, but they salvaged many items in the house before doing so.
Of note are the Chinese characters and the joinery and construction of the cabinet. Chinese characters are painted in black on the back of the shelving unit The first two characters refer to pine wood and the last character is stem or branch.

Characters include a pig, cow, scarecrow, horse and sheep. Round yellow top cap with a black chicken mounted at top. Motorized base has a yellow "turn" knob and a yellow "push to release button". Green sticker on front with a rooster on a weathervane and the text "Music Box / Mobile / Plays Brahms' Lullaby / Musical Movement / Japan / 174 / Made in U.S.A. / Patented Canada 1974 / Copyright 73 Fisher-Price Toys / East Aurora, N.Y. / DES. PAT. D237.288" Some wear and loss on the sticker surrounding the knob. Back of body has 4 metal screws and a spiral knob with a red wheel disc attached. Has a sticker with a scarecrow, sheep, rose, pig, horse, grass, barn and sky.
- Object History
- This mobile was used by a family in the Government Road area. The parents moved to Burnaby from Malaysia in 1979, and had two sons. This model of Fisher-Price's motorized mobiles was produced between 1973 and 1975, and attached to the crib rails.

- Object History
- Postcard from the Golden Dragon Resturant which served Chinese-Canadian food. Their grand opening was September 2, 1950. The community staple was known for its neon dragon sign that advertised “Chop Suey”. One side of the kitchen served Chinese foods, while another served Canadian dishes. Chinese cuisine such as rice would be served with chopsticks, while steaks, a more western dish, would be served with knife and fork. Advertisements from the resturant and meeting notices were found in local newspapers from 1950 to 1957. The establishment was not listed in the 1966 Great Vancouver Cross-Cross Directory.

- Pair of bumper jacks or car jacks. The jacks are a ratcheting style. The first jack is made of steal and used as a model for the second one which is made of wood and designed to be a prop for a movie set.
- Both jacks have an orange painted finish that has been weathered and distressed. One through time and use, the other intentionally designed to look old.
- The jacks have a base plate, lifting runner, ratcheting handle, and standard column with adjustment holes.
- The prop bumper jack has fewer moving parts and does not include any of the spring mechanisms.
