The newsletter provides an update to members of the Century Park Museum Association regarding the Heritage Village site after one year of operation. Don Copan was the founding president of the Century Park Museum Association in 1971 and served on the executive of the Century Park Museum Association (Burnaby Village Museum Association) until 1990 when the Corporation of the District of Burnaby assumed operation and management of the museum and the Burnaby Village Museum Associatioin was dissolved.

- Newsletter; mimeographed on four pages of legal sized white paper. Heading at top of Newsletter reads: "THE VILLAGER"; "CENTURY PARK MUSEUM ASSOCIATION_BURNABY, B.C._OCTOBER 1974". Newsletter is edited by Pixie McGeachie and signed by Century Park Museum Association past president, Don Copan. News items include the operations, staffing and events regarding Heritage Village including the sod turning and completion of the newly built Heritage Village Church under the sponsorship of the South Burnaby Men's Club; letter from Century Park Museum president, John Thomson; coming attractions and letters to the editor.
