While a member of the Burnaby Centennial ’71 Committee, Don created a scrapbook album of photographs and ephemera documenting the Burnaby Centennial ’71 Committee’s involvement in celebrating British Columbia’s Centenary of Confederation between January and December 1971 including Burnaby’s Commemorative Project – Heritage Village (Burnaby Village Museum).

- Item consists of one silent colour film and opens with a cat and dog at play and the McLean children helping their father in the yard moving dirt with a wheelbarrow. Film cuts briefly to views on a beach (possibly Bowyer Island) and then switches to the McLean family boarding an airplane. The footage continues with views of Expo '67 in Montreal showing rides, exhibits, buildings and the city of Montreal.
