- The Traffic and Transportation Committee was established on November 20, 1989. The Committee was immediately divided in two, creating the Traffic and Transportation Committee (Traffic Safety Division) and the Traffic and Transportation Committee (Transportation and Transit Division). Traffic and Transportation Committee (Transportation and Transit Division) was concerned with matters of public transit including annual service plans, proposed service changes, community transportation plans, public transportation awareness, etc. On January 13, 2003 these committees returned to their previously known names; the Traffic Safety Committee and Transportation Committee.

The Committee was responsible for organizing public and staff input regarding the boundaries of the buffer zone, road patterns, and trail routing, landscaping, and ensuring a positive relationship with the adjoining neighbourhood. The Chevron Green Belt / Buffer Zone Advisory Committee disbanded at the end of 1999.

- Subseries consists of records related to Seton Villa and Seton Academy.
- History
- Seton Academy operated out of the mansion known as "Overlynn" in the Burnaby Heights area. The main residence was built in 1907 as a private home. The school was built in 1954 and functioned as a private school and convent. Following the closure of the school, Action Line Housing Society purchased the property and developed it into a senior citizens housing and care facility. As there was a delay in obtaining government grants, Seton was briefly leased out to Simon Fraser University to the cover mortgage and maintenance.
