- History
- Parks and Recreation Commission was established on December 30, 1957. This Commission was responsible for maintaining Burnaby's parks and recreational outlets, and was the successor to the Board of Parks Commissioners. In 1999, the Commission was renamed Parks, Recreation and Culture Commission.
