When adjusted for English comprehension, product is "dried pomelo". It is also known as Citrus grandis Tomentosa and Citrus grandis(L.) Osbeck. The fruit is shaped in irregular rectangular pieces and most of them are thin pieces. The surface is a cinnamon brown colour. After storing for a while, the colour will turn dark brown. Chopsticks are used for stirring materia medica while they are boiling in the pot to prevent them from sticking at the bottom of the pot and getting burnt. They might also have been used for paozhi (processing of materia medica) since it may involves boiling, steaming, roasting, frying and / or calcifying.

- Label contains 2 Chinese characters that are literally translated to: "smelly", "stink"; "pill", "pellet", "bolus". When adjusted for English comprehension, product is "naphthalene balls". Naphthalene balls are made from Naphthalene. Naphthalene is an extract of crude oil or coal tra. The "stink" gas produced is toxic, especially damaging to the liver. It has chemical reactions to silk and nylon so that it could cause damage of the fabric. It has same effect of camphor when used to prevent bugs from damaging fabric but less safe to use.
