- Hat badge worn at the front peak of service cap. Made of bronze-coloured metal. Buffalo head emblem of the force is centre of badge with "Royal Canadian Mounted Police" around it. "MAINTIENS LE DROIT" is in the ribbon at the bottom of the badge. Two posts with loops are soldered to the reverse. A cotter pin passes through the loops and secures the badge to the hat. Note that "CANADA" doesn't appear below crown as it does on badges BV001.25.68 and .69.

- Cardboard needle book advertising the RCMP on the front and back cover. The outside of the needle book is yellow with an illustration of a maple leaf that turns into a scene with an RCMP member in the red serge uniform atop a black horse. Inside the needle book are six spots for storing needles in metalic coloured foil. Printed inside the book is "49 / Assorted Needles / and 1 Threader / Superfine Quality Protected Against Rust". The book measures 14.5cm x 10cm when closed.
