The front cover is yellow and has an illustration of two men in Medieval costume, sitting on benches having a conversation. Handwritten in ink on the front cover is "C.J. Caunt/ 8 Minutes/ 2". Also on the front cover is a stamp of "Property of/ C.J. Caunt". The booklet says the script is as performed in New York in 1864 but there is no other mention of date. The booklet measures 12.5cm x 18.5cm.

Ghost in a Pawn Shop - Script Booklet. Short Script for a comedy called "Ghost in a Pawn Shop" and is labelled as an Ethiopian Sketch, in one scene. The script was written by Mr. Mackey and arranged by Charles White. The script was published by The Dramatic Publishing Company in Chicago. The script has parts for four characters. The original performance of this script was in New York in 1865. The front cover is yellow and has an illustration of two men in Medieval costume, sitting on benches having a conversation. Brown, paper envelope with flap closure on either end. The envelope contains a discoloured, white booklet, commerically printed, with black and red text. The envelope is labelled across the top left corner in black text and has a stamp with black text in the bottom right corner. The top closure flap is discoloured and worn. Envelope contains cardboard folder, commercially printed on both exterior sides and right interior side in black text. Left side of folder interior has cardboard sheath attached, labelled with a white paper map. Sheath contains thin glass tubes enclosing metal needles, around 29 tubes and needles. Some tubes are labelled with white paper "flags". Right side of folder interior has yellow paper envelope attached with plastic clip and metal staple. Envelope is labelled with discoloured, commerically printed label.

Certificate of Marriage - Certificate -- [1908]. Marriage Certificate for Jón Jónsson of Vancouver BC and Lilja Einarsson of Winnipeg, MB. They were married April 29th 1908 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The certificate has images all round the border in gold and passages from the Bible in red text. The certificate was published by Ernst Kaufmann, Lahr, Baden in New York.
Object History
Lilja and Jon moved to British Columbia in 1910. They eventually moved to Burnaby and lived on 464 Northcliffe Crescent in Burnaby with their son Harold. Jon worked at the Vancouver Shipyards as a foreman.

Cutex Boudoir Manicure Set. 1923. Square, black and brown-coloured, cardboard box, with hinged lid. Upper left corner of lid features circular, seal-shaped label, commerically printed. Interior of the box is discoloured white and stained pink paper. Smaller, rectangular, cardboard boxes hold items inside base of box. Items are packaged in rectangular, black, cardboard boxes, with flap closures or lids; these are also commerically labeled, in white text. Box contains Cake Polish, bottle of paste polish and metal container filled with polish. There is also a bottle of Cuticle Remover and a tube of Nail White with its own box. Also included are an orange stick, metal nail file, three emery sticks and a brush for polish (polish missing). There is also some cotton batting.
