- The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics. Round, clear glass bottle and cork stopper. Paper label on front and around bottle neck . Bottle full of white powder. Labelled "Powdered / AMMONOL"
