The pavilion was built in 1958 for the British Columbia Centenary and became Horizons Restaurant in 1986 and may have housed The Owl and the Oarsman Restaurant at this time. Two individuals are standing on the deck and looking toward the mountains. The photograph is taken from across the lawn, facing north of northwest.
