foodstuffs not grown on the farm were delivered to the door after
orders were placed with the various supply establishments. Milk delivery,
after the Hills disposed of their own cows, was made by Frank Cummings
who kept a dairy herd on Roberts Street, just off Ledger Avenue, and
delivered milk every day
