Description
Nametag from the 11984 B.C. Summer Games in Burnaby. The name tag is printed in green ink on white cardstock "BRITISH COLUMBIA SUMMER GAMES / BURNABY 1984" includes the name "Maryanne Chakowski" and "Committee_ACCOMODATION"; The card is enclosed within a plastic sleeve with a pin on back; name tag is fastened by the pin to the top of a white satin ribbon printed with green ink; top of ribbon includes circular logo of flame and dogwood flower with text outside "B.C.SUMMER GAMES / 1984 / BURNABY . JULY 19- 22" with vertical lettering underneath "ACCOMODATION" and horitizontal lettering at bottom "BURNABY / 1984".

Name tag and ribbon is from the B.C. Summer Games that Burnaby hosted in 1984.

Object belonged to Mary D. Trainer, as a member of the Burnaby Centennial '71 Committee and the Centennial Co-ordinator hired to help organize a variety of community events to commemorate the 100th anniversary of British Columbia's entry into Confederation.
