- Large wooden hoop frame with thin slats of wood woven across it. This creates a shallow tray on one side of the hoop. The hoop is held together by ties around the hoop itself. Some of the ties have broken causing the hoop to come apart.
- The hoop and weave are very brittle.
- Object History
- These items belonged to the Hong family - who founded Hop On Farms in Burnaby. Heritage Burnaby has a number of photos and an oral history about the family.
- Seed drying tray, used when the family saved their own seed. They saved their seed to have a reliable supply of vegetable seeds difficult to find through the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s: choi sum, gai lan, bok choi. The seed heads were clipped and placed on the tray, and stored in the greenhouses to dry down. A finer sieve would have been used to separate the seeds from the chaff.

- Sign designed to look like a menu board for a movie prop. The board is printed on an aluminum frame dry erase board.
- The front of the board is white and has Chinese characters printed in red and green text with an illustration of a person in a chef's hat on the right side.
- The english translation is provided on the back of the board in the technical specifications.
- The technical specifications on the back include information about the scale, text colours, and movie information like director, production design, set number.

This differs from set decoration, which uses props to create a backdrop and is less central to the action on set.

- Large plastic sign with internal backlighting for advertising. The sign has two sections for ad inserts and one section for price display.
- The price display is currently set up advertising the price of packs and cartons of cigarettes
- The first bank of prices are 3 digit with small windows that reveal the number on a roller behind. The second bank of prices are 4 digits.
- The sign was made by CDA Industries in Scarborough, Ontario and is stamped with "JULY 1986"
- There are three labels at the top of the sign including information about how to replace the lamps or reinsert unrolled numbers.
- There is a hole at the top of the sign for the electrical cord to come out.
- There are two white metal brackets attached to the ends of the sign and there is a rusted chain hanging from each bracket.
- The plastic at the bottom right corner on the back is broken and damaged.

- Photograph of a farm with men, a horse and wagon, and children in a field. An annotation on the back of one of the photos reads, "The foreground farm property stood at the corner of Sperling Avenue (formerly known as the Pole Line Road) and Buckingham. The white house in the left centre was the residence of Miss Woodward, her mother and sister. It was the first post office at 'Burnaby Lake' and the site of the kindergarten school of Miss Harriet Woodward. It later became the United Church. / The open field in the distance above the horse's head and people in the field is the field in front of the 'Manor House' which was built by Mr. Bateman in the 1920's. To the right of and beyond the white house partly hidden by the trees can be seen some of the buildings associated with the Hill farm on Deer Lake Ave. which by the date (1909) of this photo had been sold. The distant tall trees (center) stand on the site of the Municipal Buildings (DesBirsays Woods)." An annotation on the back of the other photograph reads, "Formerly belonging to Malcom Nicolson / App. 1908." Annotations at the bottom front of the photograph read, "L. Claude Hill's Farm, Burnaby, BC."

- Photograph of a farmer driving a team of two horses mowing hay in a field. The photograph bears the caption "Mowing at Gaines' farm" and is accompanied by a notation in the album indicating that the field was across Douglas Road from Brookfield, the home of Claude Hill. This property belonged to Claude's brother Bernard Hill and was later known as 4990 Canada Way. The man is unidentified. In the background to the west can be seen Burnaby Lake and to the left the Pole Line Road (later Sperling Avenue) and to the right, Douglas Road and an unidentified house. This is the current location of the Kensington Avenue freeway interchange.
