At ground breaking ceremonies Monday, Mayor Tom Constable and nurse Elizabeth Mitchell look over a model of the new complex. The addition will nearly double capacity of the 237-bed hospital. Health Minister Dennis Cooke, right, piloted the bulldozer that broke the ground. Mr. Cooke said the addition is just part of a total of $194 million in hospital construction currently underway in the province.
