Photograph of crowd gathered to meet Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip on their royal visit to Burnaby Municipal Hall on May 7, 1971. Acting-mayor Hugh Ladner, and his wife Valerie Ruth Ladner are pictured walking with the Queen while Centennial '71 chair and his wife Yvonne are pictured walking behind Prince Philip. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip made an official visit to Burnaby as part of their Centennial tour.
