Series consists of photographs of special events that took place in Burnaby including; Burnaby's first May Day in 1925 as well as a photograph of the reception of Governor-General Lord Willingdon's visit to Burnaby in 1928. Photographs were compiled and collected by Mabel Hawkshaw in her capacity as chairman of the May Day Committee and perhaps also in her capacity as editor of the Burnaby Post newspaper.
