The outside of the needle book is yellow with an illustration of a maple leaf that turns into a scene with an RCMP member in the red serge uniform atop a black horse. Inside the needle book are six spots for storing needles in metalic coloured foil. Printed inside the book is "49 / Assorted Needles / and 1 Threader / Superfine Quality Protected Against Rust".
