The service station has a neon sign with an eagle and name "Richfield" (for Richfield Oil) hanging over the gas pumps and entrance. The service station was first named Royal Oak Garage and was operated by Stan Cullen. In 1946, Stan Cullen retired and his son Wally Cullen took over the business changing the name to Royal Oak Motors Limited. Wally's sons took over the business in 1974 and sold the property in 1976.
