The photographs document the original state of the house while it was still located at 7651 Cumberland Street; steps taken to prepare the house for transport; transport of the house through Burnaby to the museum site; construction of a foundation; exterior and interior restoration work; conservation of original architectural elements and artifacts; furnishing and designing of the interior exhibits; repairs and maintenance and the final opening.
