There are pink-tipped matches in the book.
Object History
Dragon Inn belonged to the Lee family. The Dragon Inn restaurant was located at at 4510 Kingsway, on the corner of Kingsway and Willingdon Avenue (opened in the 1970s) and later at Hastings Street near Willingdon (opened in the 1990s). The Dragon Inn was known for its exterior neon sign which was removed in 1997.

"Mel-Ray" Meat Market - Thermometer. Promotional wall thermometer for "Mel-Ray" Meat Market with a glass thermometer and a cardboard backing. The thermometer has a picture of two cottages on a lake side. Below the thermometer is the name of the company, the phone number and the address which is "4008 East Hastings St. North Burnaby, B.C.". The thermometer is 14cm x 24cm.

This is a framed picture of Queen Elizabeth, wife of King George VI, seated in room with pictures on sideboard in the background. Pictures are of Queen Mary, King George VI, and Princess Elizabeth. There is a picture of Balmoral Castle hanging on the wall. There is a cut-out at lower right for thermometer on gold background. The frame is silver metal with raised key design. Cardboard on reverse has two holes with cord between for hanging.
