- Camp blanket that was worn at camp and belonged Vivian (Vie) Henderson (1923 - 2007). Mrs. Henderson was the second Burnaby Royal Area Commissioner, from 1974 to 1979. She had previously been a Brown Owl, Guide and Ranger leader, as well as a District and Division Commissioner. She was married to Phil Henderson, noted Burnaby community volunteer.

- Drawing book was created by Nellie Gosling, First Blackrock Company, Ireland. The book may have been created to earn a badge. The drawing book was donated with items belonging to Dorothy Pitman, but it is unknown how she acquired it since she doesn't appear to have done the drawings herself. Dorothy Pitman was a Girl Guide in the 1st Burnaby Company. She was known to be involved with guiding from 1919 to 1931. Textual records and photographs of the Pitman family, including one of Dorothy and her sister Gwen, are held by the City of Burnaby Archives. Many of the journal entries describe hiking around Burnaby including areas such as Deer Lake, Brunette River, Willingdon and the Gilley Avenue Ravine while photographs document a garden party at the Municipal Hall at Edmonds in 1936. Photograph BV015.35.162.1 is titled "Garden Party / 1936" with Brown Owls identified L to R as: Mrs. Gowan, Miss May Dumas and Miss Kay Crossfield. - Salvation Army Guide uniform dress belonging to Virginia Blake, early 1960s. From the 6th Vancouver Salvation Army Guides on Hastings Street. Salvation Army was affiliated with Girl Guides (1937) of Canada until 1998. Worn with brown leather belt, beret, folded triangular company tie. The three white stripes on the right breast pocket indicate that wearer was a company leader. The more stripes you had, the higher your rank. A single white stripe, sewn down the center of the pocket, would have indicated that she was a patrol seconder. Two stripes would indicate that she was a patrol leader. White adhesive tape was used so that the guider didn’t have to unstitch and re-sew the stripes as they gained rank.

- Pin, round, enamelled metal, suspended from enamelled bar. Upper part of bar is blue, lower part red, all bordered with brass. Large brass "1914". Loop attached to bar at bottom of centre back. Single link attaches loop at top of pendant to loop of bar. Pendant part of pin is octagonal, with coloured square Union Flag at centre, no white. Flag is centred over white 7-pointed star on blue ground whose points are tipped with gold balls which extend beyond the outer border. White border around edge of pendant has gold print "IMPERIAL ORDER DAUGHTERS OF THE EMPIRE", edges, and buckle ? at bottom. Four of star's points go over border, three under. Crown at top of pendant is red and blue with gold border and details. Back of pin is brass. Locking pin back on bar has pivoting lock. Wire across lower part of bar has back of loop for link attached. Back of pendant is lighter than bar, has stamped "RYPIE / REGD 1916". Metal has scratches, corrosion. Metal of bar is discoloured. Enamel is worn.

- This pin's bar commemorates the work of the wearer during World War I. The Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire (I.O.D.E.) is a woman's charitable organization based in Canada. The first chapter "Federation of the Daughters of the Empire" was formed in Fredericton, New Brunswick in 1900 and the Federation was incorporated as "Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire and and Children of the Junior Branch" in 1901. The IODE was incorporated as Canadian women's organization by a special act of parliament of Canada in 1917. The IODE actively promoted military training in schools.
