Object History: The Carousel 100th Anniversary event was held on May 5, 2012 at the Burnaby Village Museum. The items were given out to carousel volunteers who helped restore the carousel when it was brought to BVM. The party was to commemorate the 100 Anniversary of the building of Parker #119 in 1912. The sash was intended to be worn by the sponsor, or their representative, for each horse on the carousel.
