Program for the Official Opening and Dedication of the 1912 Burnaby Centennial Parker Carousel and the Don Wrigley Pavilion, at Burnaby Village Museum, March 25, 1993. The program is printed on heavy card stock of an off-white colour. The text and images are printed in a dark blue ink. The stock is an 11 by 17 inch sheet folded in half giving four pages 8.5 by 11 inches. The front cover features an artists image of a carousel and Burnaby logos. The first inside page features "The Story of the Carousel" , History of C.W. Parker Carousel No. 119" and "The Don Wrigley Pavilion". Page two features "Dedication Ceremony" program. The back cover features, "The Friends of the Carousel", Highlights of the New Facility", "Carousel Operation", "Acknowledgements" and "Special Thanks To".

Object History
Created by the Century Park Museum Association, a non profit community association which governed Heritage Village (later Burnaby Village Museum) between October 1971 and December 1989. Donald "Don" Copan was the founding president of the association and continued to serve on the Century Park Museum Association (later Burnaby Village Museum Association) until 1989.

A Childhood Safety Calendar from Helen's Children's Wear from 1966. The front page of the calendar has a airbrushed image of a small girl smiling with blue eyes. She has a headband with silver pom-poms. She is holding a doll with a red hat and braids. The first two pages of the calendar are entitled "Children's Safety Diary. Each month of the calendar has a different image of a child. The back page has a reading entitled "Safety: Your Child's Most Important Lesson!"
Object History
Helen's Children's Wear was a popular and well known shop in Burnaby
Helen's Children's Wear was located at 4142 Hastings Street. Owner Helen Arnold opened the store on East Hastings Street in 1948. She moved to the 4142 Hastings Street location in 1955, and added a landmark neon sign to the building in 1956. The sign featured a girl on a swing, and served as an important landmark in the neighbourhood. The store closed in 2007.

Bottle, ceramic, Chinese Tiger Whiskey; "Ta-Ga-Napi"; brown; globe shape tapers to narrow neck, which flares out around opening; no stopper; inside is light brown; ridged area near bottom; bottom and part of side broken off; some cracks, crazing, two chips on rim; soil adhering to surface
Object History
This artifact was found during construction of replacement foundations of Estate Cottage building at Fairacres (now Burnaby Art Gallery). It was found in 1998 during the restoration project.
