The Society's more than 24,000 members worldwide, study and recreate the arts, sciences, literature and recreation of the European Middle Ages, before 1600 A.D."
Caption from metadata for 535-1621-3: "Residents in the Capitol Hill area would be excused if they thought they had been transported through time to the medieval age on Saturday, as members of the Society for Creative Anachronism met, and battled, at the Capitol Hill Community Hall. Richard Bertrand, aka "Sir Kheron" of the Barony of Lions Gate, has the upper hand on Crawford Tate, aka "Crawford Lum the Elder," of the Bary of Seagirt.
