The inscription identifies the girl on the left as Jean Dyson, and the girl on the right is identified as Gloriana Bird (or Birdie). They are at a beach in Winnipeg. The inscription dates the photograph circa 1906 or 1907. However, other prints of the same image are dated circa 1905.
