They are pictured on top of the rotunda. Earlier Mr. Michener presented Malcolm Aspelet with the Stanhope Gold Medal, the Roual [sic] Humane Society's top bravery award, at a ceremony in Vancouver. Mr. Aspelet was severely mauled while saving his hiking companion, Barbara Beck (now his wife) from a grizzly's attack in Glacier National park in 1971."
