- Photograph of Burnaby Voters Association Alderman Hugh Ladner with the "Ladnerettes", a group of performers, actually named the "Lionettes" from the Gai Praee supper club that were helping to promote him. They are all standing in a semi-circle, with their arms over eachother's shoulders, and wearing costumes with white straw hats that read; "Ladner". Hugh Ladner has his hat in his hand, and is leaning into the center of the frame, smiling. The "Ladnerettes" are; Chris Prentice, Francine Lightfoot, Joan Mitchell, Wendy Baldock, Maggie Wills, Judy Miller, and Joan Ladner. Hugh Ladner served as Alderman from 1968 to 1972.
