- Description
- This is a wood baseball bat, 83 cm long, 4 cm diameter at thinest part of handle, 7 cm diameter at top end of bat. The bat is stained a mid brown colour. The bottom of the handle expands into a ring but two opposite faces are chipped flat. The wood grain at the top end of the bat has begun to open up. "LOUISVILLE SLUGGER / MADE BY / J. F. HILLERICH & SON CO. / LOUISVILLE, KY" stamped and burned inside of an oval at the mid point on the bat. "TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF", stamped and burned under the oval logo at the mid point on the bat.

- Lapel pin, with pin back, is made of stamped brass and gold plated. The pin is shaped like a maple leaf with a ribbon across the centre. There is also a plant rising vertically across the centre of the maple leaf. The maple leaf is enamelled green with the ribbon in red. The plant is yellow. There is a small logo of crossed baseball bats in the lower left corner of the pin. The ribbon has "South Burnaby" on it and "Men's Club" appears on the leaf. "S.B.M.C. Baseball Tournament", surrounds the logo. The pin was issued by the South Burnaby Men's Club for a baseball tournament they sponsored.

- This pin was part of Councillor Jim Young's collection. Jim Young was a Burnaby Councillor for 12 years, from 1987 until 1999. During his time in office he served on 19 boards and councils and was instrumental in major developments in transportation, policing and neighbourhood development.

- Lapel pin, with a post back, stamped in brass and gold plated. The pin is circular with a ribbon at the bottom. It is enamelled green on the upper part of the circle and black at the bottom of the circle and on the ribbon.The word, "BASEBALL", is at the top with a gold maple leaf in the middle. There is a representation of a baseball diamond inside the leaf. Lettering on the ribbon is, "S.B.M.C.", which stands for South Burnaby Men's(or Metro) Club Issued by the South Burnaby Men's (Metro) Club.

- Queens Park Stadium - Ticket -- [1973]. Small white and blue ticket for the Jeux Canada Games Baseball game on Monday August 6, 1973 at Queens Park Stadium. The cost of admission was $1.00. The left side of the ticket is ripped. The reverse side of the ticket has the Royal Bank logo on it. The ticket measures 8.5cm x 3.5cm.

- The trophy cup is silver plated and has a handle on either side. It is mounted on a round wooden base. It was presented to the Burnaby Junior Schools, girls baseball team during the years 1921 to 1927. The school that each team represented is engraved on the reverse side of the cup.
