- Spoon, silver. Engraved in bowl, "Silver Jubilee 1952-1977" in script. Stem is fluted like a column with capital between stem and handle. Handle is figure of Queen Elizabeth ll in coronation regalia, seated on coronation throne.
- Object History
- The Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other Commonwealth realms. It was celebrated with large-scale parties and parades throughout the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth throughout 1977, culminating in June with the official "Jubilee Days," held to coincide with the Queen's Official Birthday.

- This is a framed picture of Queen Elizabeth, wife of King George VI, seated in room with pictures on sideboard in the background. Pictures are of Queen Mary, King George VI, and Princess Elizabeth. There is a picture of Balmoral Castle hanging on the wall. There is a cut-out at lower right for thermometer on gold background. The frame is silver metal with raised key design. Cardboard on reverse has two holes with cord between for hanging.

- Tin, metal box with hinged lid. Lid has coloured portraits of Prince Albert and Queen Victoria. Each side has portrait of Queen Victoria from four different years. Each portrait is framed with a gold coloured border and is surrounded by a few flowers.
- Object History
- On 22 September 1896, Victoria surpassed George III as the longest reigning monarch in English, Scottish, and British history. The Queen requested all special public celebrations of the event to be delayed until 1897, to coincide with her Diamond Jubilee. The Colonial Secretary, Joseph Chamberlain, proposed that the Diamond Jubilee be made a festival of the British Empire.

- Lid has "Prince Albert" and "Queen Victoria" to the side of each portrait and "1837" between the portraits. Under each of the portraits on the sides of the tin are the dates "1897", "1821", "1837" and "1832". Underside of tin has partial stamp "...FRY Co LONDON" "MAKER".
