- Postcard: pale green card, horizontal; large green pennant at upper left with white "VICTORIA"; coloured image of photo postcard of building at lower right, black "EMPRESS HOTEL" at bottom, "102916" and logo; B.C. crest to left below pennant, in colour, "BRITISH COLUMBIA" on riband below; in lower left corner is green moose head, "L. O. O. M."; at upper right is "CONVENTION 1923"; white border set slightly in from edge of card; on reverse in grey is "POST CARD" with image of two globes, "V. & SONS" "FAMOUS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD"; line down centre; up left side, "The Valentine & Sons Publishing Co., Ltd. Montreal and Toronto" "Printed in Great Britain"; at upper left, "Correspondence"; at right of line, "Address here"; outline of rectangle at upper right, "4" "BRITISH MANUFACTURE"; unused; some spots, darkening at upper edge
