- Rounded, rectangular metal tin, with hinged lid, discoloured silver-gold in colour. Lid features navy blue and white label. Outer corners of base are worn as well as top edges of lid and bottom edges of base.

- "ROWNTREE'S" printed in white at the top of the label. "Pastilles / Registered. 1/4 lb NET. " printed in blue and white at the bottom of the label. "Rowntree Co. / ROWNTREE & CO. LTD." printed in blue on whtie background at lower right corner. "MENTHOL and EUCALYPTUS" printed in white on black paper label, attached to tin, label is worn in the centre. Entire label is enclosed by white and blue pattern with "R" symbol in small square.
