- This is a black t-shirt with the words "This Is Our Shot" printed on the front in red and white. Next to the slogan is an "X" formed by two band-aids with a Canadian maple leaf in the centre. The logo is also on the right shoulder of the shirt.
- Object History
- This shirt was worn by community leaders throughout Burnaby and the country in a national campaign for vaccination during the COVID-19 pandemic. This campaign was shared on television and online under the #TogetherAgain hashtag, with images of vaccine recipients and their reasons for getting vaccinated against coronavirus written on the bandaid. In Burnaby, this shirt was distributed by several medical groups. This particular shirt was given to the Burnaby Public Library by the Burnaby Division of Family Practice. The doctors working within this division were very active on social media, sharing images of themselves wearing the shirts and information regarding the #TogetherAgain campaign. Local politicians also shared information and images of themselves supporting the campaign, including Katrina Chen, the MLA for Burnaby-Lougheed.
