- The A.R.P. Bulletin - Newsletter -- [1943]. Newsletter produced by the Air Raid Precautions published by The Office of Civil Air Raid Precautions. This issue was produced in September-October 1943 in Ottawa. The main headline for the newsletter is "Raids Prove Relative Need of ARP Services". There is a green 1 cent Canadian Postage Stamp of King George VI on the front of the newsletter. Typed on the top left corner of the newsletter is "Harry Cutress,/ 3724 Rumble St.,/ New West'r." The newsletter measures 23.5cm x 28cm.

- [Duke of Connaught] - Postcard -- [1912]. Postcard with a black and white photograph of the arrival of the Duke of Connaught, then Governor General of Canada. The image was taken at Edmonds and Kingsway with a welcome arch and a banner reading "Burnaby Welcomes You". In the image there is the interurban tram and Edmonds station in the background, surrounded by many onlookers. Verso of postcard includes stamp at top reading: "CANADIAN SOUVENIR POST CARD"; divided into two sections "THIS SPACE FOR CORRESPONDENCE" / "THIS SPACE FOR ADDRESS ONLY"; includes marking to place postage stamp "POSTAGE / ONE CENT / FOR / CANADA / AND U.S. / TWO CENTS / FOR / ABROAD". - Hudson's Bay Company - Bill and Receipt -- [1924]. Bill and receipt for Mr. T.S. McNair from the Hudson's Bay Company Retail Branch, for 16 1/4 yards of Linoleum flooring and laying. The bill was issued October 27th, 1927 with a total bill of $33.30. Mr. McNair paid the bill in full on October 31, 1924 and was issued a receipt from the Hudson's Bay Company. The receipt has been stapled to the bill with a postage stamp.
- Object History
- Bill and receipt belonging to Thomas Seaborn McNair, who was born on May 15 1888 to Francis McNair and Elizabeth Taylor. He worked as an accountant and estate agent. He married Mary Vida McMillan in 1917. Thomas ran Edwards, McNair and Russell in Vancouver (presumably an accounting firm). Thomas McNair died in 1982.
