Contents of both shops were combined with the elaborate fixtures of "Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee & Co." installed at the front of the shop and the plainer fixtures of "Wah Sun" moved to the work and storage areas. The rear of the shop also operated as an unofficial post office for recent Chinese immigrants.

Front window display at the Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee & Co. There are eight glass bottles of various sizes with Chinese character labels. Two soya sauce container and another container. Behind the display it a newspaper page with a cross word puzzle taped on the inside window.

In 1926, the shop relocated to 1710 Government Street where they ran the business until 1935 when they purchased "Wah Sun" in the Lee Block located at 1620 Government Street. Contents of both shops were combined with the elaborate fixtures of "Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee & Co." installed at the front of the shop and the plainer fixtures of "Wah Sun" moved to the work and storage areas. The rear of the shop also operated as an unofficial post office for recent Chinese immigrants.

Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee & Co (WSYWK) was an herbalist shop operating in Victoria from 1905 until 1967. From 1905 until 1926, the shop was located on Fisgard Street. In 1926, the shop relocated to 1710 Government Street where they ran the business until 1935 when they purchased "Wah Sun" in the Lee Block located at 1620 Government Street. Contents of both shops were combined with the elaborate fixtures of "Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee & Co." installed at the front of the shop and the plainer fixtures of "Wah Sun" moved to the work and storage areas. The rear of the shop also operated as an unofficial post office for recent Chinese immigrants.
