Scope and Content
Photograph of the chapel of the Order of St. Benedict at the Ceperley Mansion when they purchased and occupied the mansion from 1939 to 1954. They converted the drawing room into a chapel, placing the altar in front of the fireplace. A platform with a cross on a table. The letters "LOCUS ISTE SANCTUS EST" are inscribed on the wall above the cross. There is a picture of baby Jesus held by the Virgin Mary on one side of the platform, and a Saint holding a baby on the other.

Photograph of eight unidentified clergymen posed outside in front of a brick building. Four are standing and the other four are seated in front of the standing men. On the right side of the photo, there is a sign that reads, "In Your Prayers / Kindly Remember." The location has been identified as Saint Theresa's Roman Catholic Church. The church was located at the southeast corner of Canada Way and Laurel Street. Built in 1929, it was torn down in 1974, and a new church, St.Theresa's Parish, was built across the street.

Scope and Content
Photograph of the Mathers house in 1935. The house is now part of the Deer Lake Park Complex and is used for various artistic and cultural activities. According to a note prepared by Kathleen and Eileen Mathers, the house otherwise known as "Altnadene" was built in 1911-1912 for Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Mathers of New Westminster by architect F.W. Macey who lived on Douglas Road. The house was occupied by the family from late-1912 until mid-1935. The original photographs have been taken by professional photographers. The accession register dates the photograph ca. 1935 while the inscription dates it late-1920's. An annotation on the back of the photograph reads: "late '20s."
