Julie Lee discusses what life was like growing up on her family farm in the Douglas-Gilpin area, at the corner of Still Creek and Douglas Road in Burnaby.

History: Julie Lee is the daughter of Suey Ying Jung (Laura) and Puy Yuen Chan. The couple were married at Fraser Mills in October, 1942. The family owned a farm on Douglas Road near Still Creek in the early 1900s. Their farm was located in front of the Douglas Road interurban tram station.
