- Garden rake consisting of a row of short metal tines attached perpendicularly to a long wooden shaft. There are 14 tines on the rake head.
- There is some rust on the metal of the rake.
- Object History
- These tools belonged to donor's father who had a market garden at his home on 4930 Marine Drive from 1971-79. Her father's name was Yee Law (or Herbert Law). After Yee stopped farming for a living in 1980, he gave these tools to the his daughter Gail and her family (the Yips). They presume that he no longer needed them. He maintained a 1 acre garden on his property until he couldn't anymore.

- The set is made by "Johnson Bros / England". The company logo features an angular crown. The decoration is a flower motif with a blue stem of red berries and flowers with green leaves in the centre of some of the dishes. There is a band of silver pattern with blue highlights and fruits in angular cartouches around the outside edges of the dishes. The salad plate is 20.3 cm diameter. The band decoration is around the rim of the plate with the stem design in the centre of the plate.

- The china was acquired by Charlotte Latham (possibly) in England. The china was used in Burnaby since at least the 1920's since that's when her and her husband settled in Burnaby. The china was gifted to me (Ivaz) by Charlotte's daughter Frances, a Burnaby-born resident her entire life. Frances passed away in 1998.

- Object History
- The scale was used by the Hill family. The family farm stood on Douglas Road at Deer Lake - where Burnaby Village Museum is today. The homestead was built in 1892, and as enlarged in 1905. The family grew strawberries on the farm. Bernard Hill worked as a surveyor for the municipality of Burnaby. He and his brother Claude were Alderman for the municipality of Burnaby.
