Chinese characters on label, which literally translate to mean "ground" "ripe grain" "root". When adjusted for English translation, "Root of Twelve stamen Melastoma Dodecandrum Lour". Uses in Chinese medicine: Bitter, slightly sweet, neutral. For liver, spleen and lung meridians. Action: Promote blood circulation, stop bleeding, eliminate dampness and remove toxicity.
