North Vancouver City Ferries Ticket - Ticket. Passenger ticket good for one fare on the North Vancouver City Ferries. At the top of the ticket is the number "812553". The ticket has a small drawing of a ferry on the water that has been stamped over with a large red "A". There is a clause on the side of the ticket stating that the City is not liable for delays or accidents. On the back of the ticket is a crest for the Corporation of the City of North Vancouver and another "A" below it.

The ticket has been stamped at the top with a serial number "49675". There is a clause on the side of the ticket stating that the City is not liable for delays or accidents. The ferries were operated by Nicholson Limited Vancouver. On the back of the ticket is a crest for the Corporation of the City of North Vancouver and another blue X across it.

West Vancouver Boat - Ticket. Two boat tickets (still attached) each good for one boat fare for the muncipality of West Vancouver. The ticket is cream with the West Vancouver coat of arms in orange. Above the coat of arms is "BOAT". At the top of the ticket is the number "E 17641". The back of the ticket states that the muncipality of West Vancouver is not liable for delays, accidental or otherwise.

Object History
The ticket is from the Sannie Transporation Company which operated a passenger ferry service between Bowen Island and Horseshoe Bay. The company operated the route from 1921 to 1956.

Black Ball Line - Leaflet -- [1961]. Map leaflet for the Black Ball Line operated by Puget Sound Navigation Company and Black Ball Ferries Limited. The leaflet provides maps and information about the various trips that the company makes. The main routes appear to be between Vancouver and Nanaimo, Sechelt Peninsula, Powell River and Bowen Island. The leaflet measures 10cm x 23cm when closed.
