Photographic postcard looking over the Century Gardens, towards the Ceperley House in Deer Lake. The caption on the reverse of the postcard reads: "Century Gardens was Burnaby's Centennial Project commemorating Canada's 100th birthday. The Corporation bought this mansion and its spacious grounds located on the north shore of Deer Lake. The building was restored and now operates as Burnaby's new Art Centre. The grounds were relandscaped and over 2000 rhododendrons, Burnaby's official flower, were planted to promote the numerous named varieties which can be grown in the lower mainland."

Front cover; light blue legal size cartridge paper folded in half with black text "Burnaby North Senior Secondary School / Presents / Guys & / Dolls" and illustration of a woman and man in fedora hat smoking a cigarette and a set of dice. Interior of program; three pieces of legal sized cartridge paper folded in centre; stapled; printed on both sides with black typewritten text. Three pieces of fake paper money; dollar bills; printed in blue/green ink on white paper and illustrated to appear as United States dollar bills.
Object History
From Burnaby North Secondary School, Burnaby in the early 1970s. Handmade dollar bills were props in Burnaby North's production of Guys and Dolls. They were drawn by the art students for the musical. Darleane Hewstan was in the concert band, and she remembers the bills been thrown around the stage by the gamblers. One of the student actors in the production, Gerry Martin, played Nathan Detroit, said that the dollar bills were used in the floating crap game.

Description
Burnaby North Senior Secondary School theatre program for Pajama Game - [197-]. Front cover; light pink legal size cartridge paper folded in half with black text "BURNABY NORTH SEN. SEC. / presents / PAJAMA / GAME" with illustration from front to back of cover with black and white chess pieces, a woman in polkadot dress is standing on a white chess piece on front, a man wearing striped pajamas and a crown is standing on the top of a black chess piece on the back, illustrator is identified in bottom right corner of front "DALE CLARK". Interior of program contains three pages of white legal sized cartridge paper folded in centre; printed on both sides with black typewritten text.
