There is a house seen in the background to the left of the photograph. The photograph is identified by the acquisition record and inscription on the back as Queen Victoria's Jubilee bonfire. There is a discrepancy in the records as to who the man is. Some have identified him as Bernard Hill, others, as Mr. L.C. Hill.
