- Lapel pin, with pin back, is made of stamped brass and gold plated. The pin is shaped like a maple leaf with a ribbon across the centre. There is also a plant rising vertically across the centre of the maple leaf. The maple leaf is enamelled green with the ribbon in red. The plant is yellow. There is a small logo of crossed baseball bats in the lower left corner of the pin. The ribbon has "South Burnaby" on it and "Men's Club" appears on the leaf. "S.B.M.C. Baseball Tournament", surrounds the logo. The pin was issued by the South Burnaby Men's Club for a baseball tournament they sponsored.

- Object History
- Object originated with the Burnaby Lawn Bowling Club. The "Frank Bowser" presenting the trophy was Kerrisdale resident Francis "Frank" Bowser. He was a member of the Kerrisdale Lawn Bowling Club, ca. 1918, and was elected President of the Lower Mainland Lawn Bowling Association in 1919. The Bowser trophy was awarded to the winner of a competition between the various Lower Mainland bowling clubs. Each team entering had to be skippered by the president of that club. The winning team for the 1923 cup was from the Central Park Club in Burnaby (The Vancouver Sun - 16 Dec 1923). Francis "Frank" Bowser (1857-1929) came to Vancouver around 1885 and went to work with Dominion Customs, retiring in 1908 as chief landing waiter. He was elected reeve of Point Grey in 1912 and served two terms in office. His brother was former B.C. premier W.J. Bowser. (see Obituary in The Vancouver Sun - 26 Sep 1929).

- Embossed cup shaped trophy with handles on either side, mounted on a round, 15.3 cm diameter, wooden base. The overall height ofthe cup is 37.5 cm and overall width is 24.5 cm. This cup has been worked by hammering the surface designs from the inside rather than applying cast decoration. There are silver halmarks stamped on the underside of the cup inicating that the maker was Thamas Bradbury & Sons Ltd Company (1905 to 1943). On the front "PRESENTED TO/ BURNABY LAWN BOWLING CLUB/ BY/ A.E.S.WOOD/ 1923

- Object originated with the Burnaby Lawn Bowling Club. The "A.E.S. Wood" presenting the trophy was Burnaby resident A.E.S. "Stan" Wood. The first lawn bowling green in Burnaby, located at Victory Street and Gray Avenue, was on his property.

She was likely Ernest's wife, Jean Pitman. 1939 winner Mrs. G. Jeffery was likely Harriet (Philpot) Jeffery, wife of George Jeffery. 1947 winner Mrs. S. - This is a Wurlitzer Military Band Organ, Style 146B. Built by the Rudolph Wurlitzer Company, ca 1925. The organ is supposed to recreate the sound of a 20-piece military band, with percussion instruments that include bass drum, snare drums, cymbals, and xylophones, as well as pipes to reproduce the sounds of trumpets, trombones, flutes, and violins. This band organ is operated by paper rolls based on Wurlitzer's unique, 46 note roll scale, "Style 150". Our Model 146B has duplex roll frames, allowing continuous playing, one roll rewinds as the other is playing. An electric motor mounted on the top uses a belt to drive a crankshaft that powers both the air bellows that feed the various music pipes as well as the roll mechanism. The band organ was originally intended to be used with a carousel out of doors. A perferated sheet of plexie glass has been placed over the front opening to reduce the volume of the instrument inside the carousel building. - The band organ was purchased and restored by the Friends of the Carousel to replace the original organ that had been sold before the carousel was acquired for the Burnaby Village Museum. The Friends of the Carousel bought this machine from a collector in Spokane, Washington. He had obtained it from a closed down travelling carnival company in Reno, Nevada. They had used it with a carousel in the American mid-west.

Produced by the Metropolitan Pamphlet Series this booklet called Fancy Drills for Evening and Other Entertainments, is a book on changing military drills into performance pieces for women using brooms, fans, hoops and other props. The book provides diagrams and illistrations for the demonstration as well as costume suggestions. The booklet was published by The Butterick Publishing Company in May 1897.

- Camp blanket that was worn at camp and belonged Vivian (Vie) Henderson (1923 - 2007). Mrs. Henderson was the second Burnaby Royal Area Commissioner, from 1974 to 1979. She had previously been a Brown Owl, Guide and Ranger leader, as well as a District and Division Commissioner. She was married to Phil Henderson, noted Burnaby community volunteer.
