- Button pin, round, buff ground with wide brownish red border and green print. Around edge from left, "JULY / AUG / SEPT". Logo below 'AUG', illegible, "LI--HA" ?, then "1920". At bottom is brownish red dot at centre of "U.B.M.W.E.R.S.L." in circle. Pin is paper formed over a metal back and held in place by pressure. Clear coating over front. Back is dark metal with remains of pin clasp closure ?, coil of wire one side, lighter-coloured patch of metal around opening other side. Back is hollow. Manufacturer's stamp, mostly illegible, "--- CO" "--H.N.Y." and hallmark ?. Metal of back is tarnished, some scratches and wear on front.

- Union dues button for the United Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees and Railroad Shop Laborers which was affiliated with the American Federation of Labour. - Photograph of five men standing on a flat-bottom vessel on the Fraser River. A label accompanying the photograph reads: "1st threshing outfit in Burnaby, about 1892. Owned by Pat Byrne, brother of Peter. Sold to Peter when Pat returned to Ireland to live. On Fraser River. L. to R.: Pat Byrne, Capt. Stewart of "Alice", Peter Byrne and another (unknown)." Peter Byrne was a member of Burnaby's municipal council from 1894-1895, 1898-1906 and served as Reeve from 1906-1910. The threshing machine (visible behind the side paddle of the scow) was loaded onto this scow for transport from New Westminster to the Byrne farm in Burnaby.

- The blade is made of iron and is heavily rusted. The handle is damaged in several spots and cracked where the blade is attached.

- Large wooden hoop frame with thin slats of wood woven across it. This creates a shallow tray on one side of the hoop. The hoop is held together by ties around the hoop itself. Some of the ties have broken causing the hoop to come apart.
- The hoop and weave are very brittle.

- These items belonged to the Hong family - who founded Hop On Farms in Burnaby. Heritage Burnaby has a number of photos and an oral history about the family.
- Seed drying tray, used when the family saved their own seed. They saved their seed to have a reliable supply of vegetable seeds difficult to find through the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s: choi sum, gai lan, bok choi. The seed heads were clipped and placed on the tray, and stored in the greenhouses to dry down. A finer sieve would have been used to separate the seeds from the chaff.
