- Menu belonged to Hilda Higham Page who was a member of the Burnaby Cougars lacrosse team in the 1930s. The Burnaby Cougars women's lacrosse team was formed in 1930. The Burnay Cougars home field was located in Central Park and practices took place at Kingsway West School, Burnaby. Les Greenwood was the Cougars' first coach followed by Chief Andy Paul and Bill Bayley. Bill Fowler was manager of the team. The Burnaby Cougars won the championship in 1934. In 1937 the Burnaby Cougars re-organized as the New Westminster Cougars and fielded a team in B.C. Senior Women's Lacrosse League.

- A Childhood Safety Calendar from Helen's Children's Wear from 1966. The front page of the calendar has a airbrushed image of a small girl smiling with blue eyes. She has a headband with silver pom-poms. She is holding a doll with a red hat and braids. The first two pages of the calendar are entitled "Children's Safety Diary. Each month of the calendar has a different image of a child. The back page has a reading entitled "Safety: Your Child's Most Important Lesson!"

- Helen's Children's Wear was a popular and well known shop in Burnaby
- Helen's Children's Wear was located at 4142 Hastings Street. Owner Helen Arnold opened the store on East Hastings Street in 1948. She moved to the 4142 Hastings Street location in 1955, and added a landmark neon sign to the building in 1956. The sign featured a girl on a swing, and served as an important landmark in the neighbourhood. The store closed in 2007.

- This is a wood baseball bat, 83 cm long, 4 cm diameter at thinest part of handle, 7 cm diameter at top end of bat. The bat is stained a mid brown colour. The bottom of the handle expands into a ring but two opposite faces are chipped flat. The wood grain at the top end of the bat has begun to open up. "LOUISVILLE SLUGGER / MADE BY / J. F. HILLERICH & SON CO. / LOUISVILLE, KY" stamped and burned inside of an oval at the mid point on the bat. "TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF", stamped and burned under the oval logo at the mid point on the bat.

- The field hockey stick is made of ash. It has a fairly flat curve on the blade. It is round at the handle and gradually flattens and curves towards the blade of the stick. The blade is flat on one side and rounded at the back. The handle is leather wrapped for 27 cm. and then it is string wrapped for 31 cm. Overall length is 90 cm. The end of the handle is 4 cm diameter "JAQUES LONDON / MAKERS", printed on back of blade "BEST ENGLISH ASH" printed on back of blade "M Thomson" written in ink on back of blade. "20 oz" stamped in back edge of blade just below string wrapping. - Lapel pin, with pin back, is made of stamped brass and gold plated. The pin is shaped like a maple leaf with a ribbon across the centre. There is also a plant rising vertically across the centre of the maple leaf. The maple leaf is enamelled green with the ribbon in red. The plant is yellow. There is a small logo of crossed baseball bats in the lower left corner of the pin. The ribbon has "South Burnaby" on it and "Men's Club" appears on the leaf. "S.B.M.C. Baseball Tournament", surrounds the logo. The pin was issued by the South Burnaby Men's Club for a baseball tournament they sponsored.
