- The Hong family run Hop-On Farm on Marine Drive in Burnaby. Many Hong family members worked on the farm including parents Sui Ha Hong and Chan Kow Hong, grandfather Gay Tim Hong, and uncles. The Hong family's great-grandfather was Sui Wing Hong The Hong family had seven children, oldest to youngest: Pauline, Josephine, Catherine, Norine, Gary, Darlene, and Marlene.

- The Confederation Singers in 1890s costumes. The front row is men sitting, there are three rows of woman standing behind. There is a man and woman standing together to the left of the group.
- History
- Mrs Bate was a church choir singer. In 1976 she was asked to help form the Confederation Singers at the North Burnaby Confederation Seniors Centre. She started the choir and conducted it until her retirement in 1986. The costume, as seen in several photographs and also in the Burnaby Vilalge Museum collection, was made by members of the choir who made similar 1890's period costumes for themselves. The choir sang in seniors centres and at special events at Century Park (now known as the Burnaby Village Museum). They were also invited to sing at Government House in Victoria.

- Photograph of school children with their teacher, who is standing to the right of the picture. An annotation on the back and an earlier catalogue record from 1971 indicates that the donor identified the photograph as the first class at Armstrong Avenue School, 1913, with Miss L. Crake as the teacher. However, the first two-room Armstrong Avenue School was built in 1911 with Miss Lilly Mackenzie as the teacher. The present Armstrong school was built in 1955 with eleven classrooms. Later additions to the school occurred in 1962 (two classrooms), 1964 (four classrooms), 1967 (four classrooms), and 1969 (four classrooms). Annotation in blue ballpoint pen on back of photographs reads, "1st class of Armstrong Ave School. 1913 / Miss L Crake teacher."

- Photograph of Barnet Road, a dirt road at the time of the photograph, from North Road. There is a sign post in the foreground to the left that indicates the crossing is "NORTH AVE" and "BARNET RD". On the sign post a provincial notice is tacked on. There are electric posts along one side of Barnet Road, and further down the road is an unidentified man riding a motorcycle or a bicycle. According to an earlier catalogue record from 1988, the view is looking East, and the mountain rising in the background is Burnaby Mountain. The record also dates the negative ca. 1914
