The family runs Hop-On Farm on Marine Drive in Burnaby. Many Hong family members worked on the farm including Josephine Hong's grandfather, Gay Tim Hong, and uncles. Scope and Content: Photograph of the interior of a house identified by accession register, catalogue record and inscription as Patterson house, possibly built in the 1890s. The location is on either on Patterson Street (where the Patterson family first lived in Burnaby) or, more likely, Edmonds Street (where they later moved to). The photograph shows the hall area, with two display cabinets showing fine china in the left corner. There is a large rug on the floor, and a mirror by what seems to be the side of a staircase. The house is overall decorated in a late Victorian style. An annotation on the back of the photo reads: "Interior picture of the Paterson [sic] home. Located on Edmonds St., Bry. c. 1890's." The house was originally located at 7260 Edmonds Street (near Kingsway). It was relocated in 1955 to 7106 18th Avenue and is a city heritage site.

History: John and Frances Wuzinski moved from Manitoba to Burnaby in 1944, where they purchased an acre of land on the corner of Hastings Street and Cliff Avenue. They had two daughters: Janice and Mary Louise. They grew berries, fruit and vegetables for home and for sale, and raised bees. People came from miles around to purchase strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes and honey. In 1962 the Wuzinski property was expropriated by the Municipality of Burnaby, and the family purchased another property nearby. They started a new garden, brought the bees, and transplanted several trees to the new property.

Scope and Content: Photograph taken from "Woodlunds." Annotations in ink on the back of the card read, "Mr & Mrs G. Every-Clayton/ with Mr Haszard's/ wishes for a very/ Happy Xmas/ 1899" and "Looking from Woodlands / towards Burnaby Lake in 1899." Later annotation in blue ballpoint pen read, "Woodlunds the residence of Mr. Geo. Every-Clayton stood on the site of the present Centennial Pavilion, which when originally built was the residence of Mr. and Mrs. H.T. Ceperley. The proceeds from its sale was used to prepare the Ceperley playground in Stanley Park. The house in the left centre was that of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard R. Hill demolished to make way for entrance to Expressway."

Scope and Content: Photographic tintype of an unidentified man with a beard standing beside a small table taken at a photographic studio. He is holding a roll of paper in his left hand, propped on the table.

History: From Denby Bros. Shoe Store at 163 West Pender in Vancouver. Stafford Ague Denby (1882-1957) started peddling shoe findings in 1918 around Vancouver to repair shops around town from the back of an old Ford. Two of his brothers, William Albert (1873-1947) and Melvin Stanley (1879-1953) joined him in 1919 to form Denby Bros & Co. Ltd Leather and Shoe Findings at 163 West Pender. William Gordon Pope started helping out in the shoe store at the age of 10. He eventually ran the store with his cousin, Pat Denby (son of William A. Denby) starting in the 1950s. The store closed in 1974.
