There are restaurants and various stores which line the street by the tracks in the background. The caption printed on the front bottom of the photo reads, "B.C. Electric Rly. Co. Observation Car, Vancouver. / "Teddy" Lyons, Conductor. Harry Bullen Photo. 2608 Gran. Bayview 8869." Stamped on the back of the photo is "Vancouver, B.C. Jul 22 1934."
