The Anik-B educational television system went on the air live Monday as Education Minister Pat McGreer delivered the first message. The system connects some 14 classrooms around the province and in the Northwest Territories to the originating studio at BCIT. The lessons are beamed via sattelite [sic] to the classrooms, most of which have the capacity to talk back to the instructor during the lesson."
