The group is standing in front of a re-creation of "The Jokhang Temple" originally located in Lhasa Tibet and was built for the film set in Argentina. Jimmy Chow was the property master on this film which was directed by director Jean-Jacques Annaud. "Seven Years in Tibet" was filmed on location in Argentina and Mount Waddington, British Columbia and released in 1997.
