- The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics. Clear glass bottle, rounded-rectangular base, with black, plastic screw cap. The bottle contains orange-brown, liquid residue. There is no label attached. Measurement markings noted on both sides of the bottle.
